How E-CET Helps
E-CET stands for Embodied Cognitive Eating Training. Simply put, it refers to the process by which clients learn to transform their outer world (with a focus on unhealthy thought and behavior patterns, in particular with food) by reconnecting with, and transforming, their inner world.
Let's break it down.
Embodied: To be embodied can be described as a moment-to-moment presence in our body as we experience life. To be embodied is to be awake and aware of the natural flow of sensations, feelings, and energies that flow through our bodies.
E-CET reminds us that our bodies are natural communicators and healers. Given this, we can only truly make choices that best support our health and well-being when we're embodied—when we're living fully in the present moment and in our bodies—making choices informed by their present moment communication.
Cognitive: Our minds drive our thoughts, beliefs, emotions, habits, behaviors, and choices, usually on auto-pilot. As a result, they have a powerful impact on our bodies and our health.
Our minds affect our bodies and our bodies affect our minds. They are interconnected, not separate.
E-CET is a proven training system that teaches clients to reconnect them so they can work together to transform the way they eat, think and live in ways that best support overall well-being, in harmony and peace.

Simply put: E-CET recognizes that the choices we make are driven by our brains, often completely subconsciously—without conscious intellectual activity (such as thinking, reasoning or remembering) or without connection to the wisdom and communication of our bodies.
It's a weight-neutral guided process that teaches clients to reconnect with, listen to, and trust the wisdom of their own bodies, while intentionally re-engaging the conscious intellect—all from a foundation that is firmly rooted in their own worthiness.
E-CET relies on four main pillars of being to assist this process—being present, connected, curious and intentional.
This results in not only creating healthier eating and thinking habits, but also healthier relationships with food, themselves and their bodies... and ultimately greater health, happiness and well-being as a whole.

About Roni Davis
E-CET creator, award-winning coach, speaker, author, podcaster, Roni Davis is on a mission to change the way the world approaches weight, healthy eating and healthy living.
She spent almost 3 decades struggling with weight, food, negative body (and self) image, negative internal dialogue and even bulimia, depression and anxiety.
She also spent over a decade gaining education and professional experience as an award-winning personal trainer and nutrition and wellness coach, nationally qualified champion figure athlete plus, more recently, training in mindfulness, meditation, and CBT.
Roni’s own decades-long healing journey and professional training and experience along with almost 4 years of testing and perfecting led to the creation of E-CET.
Her work with Embodied Cognitive Eating Training allows clients to uncover and change the toxic thought and behavior patterns that drive weight and food struggles. She guides and supports clients through the process of creating presence, breaking unhealthy patterns, and developing deeper connections to themselves and with their bodies.

Before I struggled so much with food. I was always restricting and then overeating. I couldn’t accept myself and always wanted to be thinner. Now my self-love is incredible. I never felt this way before - it has changed completely. I don’t really judge myself at all. I don’t think about food as much.
